a brief about us

Who we are

Advance Health and Community Services
ADVANCE HEALTH
AND COMMUNITY SERVICES (AHCS)
AHCS was founded in 2014.  The founder and CEO, Rodney Prat, B.S.N., had worked several years in the healthcare industry setting in South Florida.  Mr. Prat recognized that a vast majority of the behavioral health services offered were lacking in quality and availability.  In 2014, Mr. Prat opened a community mental health center (CMHC).  AHCS provided community and office based behavioral health services in both Dade and Broward Counties.
AHCS treats individuals who exhibit impairment in daily functioning due to behavioral health issues.  In addition, the agency works with their family and significant others to ensure that our persons served have access to needed and appropriate services and resources available in the community. Our clinical and case management programs provide a wide range of services that are organized within a comprehensive safe and nurturing environment to ensure continuity of care.  The services include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, screening, assessment and evaluations, home visits, care planning, linkage to appropriate services, advocacy, referral to community resources, individual, family and group therapy, psychosocial rehabilitation, and monitoring of service delivery.
