JOB #1 DESCRIPTION – MENTAL HEALTH QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST I

A qualified individual must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy or some equivalent degree. The QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST I monitors, reviews and approves all clinical records (including paper and electronic records) in accordance with agency, state and legal regulations for assigned therapists. Is responsible for ensuring that all clinical documentation is submitted in a timely manner. Works in close collaboration with licensed clinical supervisor(s) and other management staff to monitor quality of records for compliance with legal, ethical and professional standards. Provides reports and make suggestions regarding potential discrepancies or areas of concern in medical records, documentation/treatment to clinical supervisor. Develops forms and other resources to assist clinical and supervisory staff in the maintenance of adequate documentation, meeting all legal, and State, County program requirements.

JOB # 2 DESCRIPTION – MENTAL HEALTH QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST II

A qualified individual must possess a High School Diploma. QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST II is responsible for ensuring that all clinical documentation is submitted in a timely manner. Works in close collaboration with licensed clinical supervisor(s) and other management staff to monitor quality of records for compliance with legal, ethical and professional standards. Provides reports and make suggestions regarding potential discrepancies or areas of concern in medical records, documentation/treatment to clinical supervisor. Acts as backup for the QA/QI I specialists when needed and assists the clinical supervisor in daily operations as needed.

JOB # 1 DESCRIPTION – CASE MANAGER

A qualified individual must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Science, Family Therapy and two years direct experience working with children and or adults This person shall function as a team member. Main functions shall be coordinating, monitoring, planning, linking and advocating for all the persons’ served service needs. The case manager will serve as the persons’ served advocate in attempting to provide and facilitate the best possible care and treatment available.

JOB # 2 DESCRIPTION –CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRY

A qualified individual must possess a Master’s Medical Degree and Doctor of Medicine. The psychiatrist diagnoses mental illness and emotional problems in children and adolescents. Develops treatment plans, which may include psychoanalysis, psychotherapy, hospitalization and medication. Diagnosis and the treats disorders of thinking, feeling and/or behavior affecting children, adolescents, and their families. The psychiatrist provides medication management.

JOB # 5 DESCRIPTION – MEDICAL RECORDS CLERK

This person shall function as a team member. Creates new medical records and retrieves existing medical records by gathering appropriate record folders and contents; assigning and recording new record numbers; verifying existing record numbers; inputting and recording locations to computer; delivering records.

JOB # 6 DESCRIPTION – RECEPTIONIST

This person shall function as a team member. Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions. Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges. Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying the provider of patient's arrival. Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area. Ensures availability of treatment information by filing, scanning, and retrieving patient records.

JOB  # 3 DESCRIPTION –THERAPIST

A qualified individual must possess Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy or some equivalent master’s degree. The Mental Health Therapist provides clinically indicated in-home or in-office therapeutic services to all persons’ served assigned. The Mental Health Therapist documents progress notes and related clinical documents, develops and maintains client records in a timely manner and in accordance with Advance Health and Community Services Policy and Procedures, Medicaid, and CARF standards. The Mental Health Therapist will communicate with schools, psychiatrists, pediatricians, and other professionals working with the persons’ served case. In addition, The Mental Health Therapist is responsible for attending weekly clinical supervision by licensed supervisor, mandatory staff meetings, and group supervision. The Mental Health Therapist shall practice according to the highest clinical standards and ethical standards of the mental health profession.

JOB # 4 DESCRIPTION – ASSESSOR

A qualified individual must possess Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy or some equivalent master’s degree and be Licensed by the State of Florida in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field preferred. The Assessor is responsible for conducting an initial intake on all assigned persons served and responsible for completing assessments. The Assessor documents clinical documents, develops and maintains client records in a timely manner and in accordance with Advance Health and Community Services Policy and Procedures, Medicaid, and CARF standards. In addition, The Assessor is responsible for attending weekly clinical supervision by licensed supervisor, mandatory staff meetings, and group supervision. The Assessor shall practice according to the highest clinical standards and ethical standards of the mental health profession.
